What is Influencing and why is it increasingly important?

Influence Model

What is the Goal for influencing and why is it important to have this clearly defined?
Trust – what role does creating trust play in your ability to influence and how might you increase this.
Influencing techniques – what skills and techniques are available to use including when you are put on the spot and don’t have time to plan.
Message – Science of Influencing – consider different ways to craft your message using Cialdini’s Influencing approaches.
Personal style – considering both your own and the style of the person you are influencing, what might you need to dial up or down in order to be more effective.

Practical Application

Delegates will work in small groups throughout the session including time on a current influencing situation (case study) that they bring to the session allowing them to apply the content to real life situations.
