What will I learn?

Learn the key components and techniques involved in producing and sharing a Power BI report. This session is ideal for people with little or now experience of using Power BI. You’ll also learn about the role of both Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service.

As most of the work involved in creating reports is done in the Desktop, the main part of the course will focus on Power BI Desktop.

To attend this session little or no experience of Power BI is required but a general understanding of Business Intelligence reporting, relational databases and Excel, in particular formulas and Pivot Tables, would be helpful.

The course provides a solid foundation for further learning which can be provided in the form of short Sprint sessions focusing on specific areas introduced on this course.
