What will I learn?

Our Microsoft Power Apps Foundation course is designed for end-users who are required to build and manage Canvas Power Apps. Delegates will understand the key steps to building an app within an environment and sharing within the organisation.

On completion of this course, delegates will be able to:

Understand the key elements of constructing Power Apps.
Create Power Apps using different Data Sources such as Excel, SharePoint Lists and SQL.
Add and edit common Controls such as Labels, Text, Galleries, Charts, Icons and Tables.
Apply Backgrounds and Images.
Test and Share Apps.
Describe the differences between Canvas and Model Driven Apps.
Understand the tools within the Power Apps Admin Centre.

No experience of Power Apps is required. Familiarity with working with data held in tables/lists would be helpful along with a good understanding of business processes.

Duncan Dickinson

Duncan has spent the last 20 years training and consulting to many companies on Project Server/Project Online, SharePoint Server/SharePoint Online and the Power Platform; assisting companies to define and streamline their internal project management and document management processes and then setting up the applications to manage these processes.

Combining both consultancy with training, Duncan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and can present a more accurate view of how the Microsoft products can be used by organisations to streamline processes.
