A new feature alert for PowerPoint users: PowerPoint Cameo allows you to embed your camera feed straight into any of your slides. You can then apply effects to your camera feed just like you would to images or other objects – including formatting, styles and transition effects.
Cameo will be available to all Microsoft 365 subscribers in the desktop app and is rolling out now!
How to insert Cameo on to a slide?
- In PowerPoint, choose INSERT > CAMEO
- Click CAMERA > PREVIEW to turn on your camera feed
- Apply a STYLE, SHAPE, BORDER or EFFECTS.
- Now simply press F5 to start your slide show.
If you use PowerPoint Live to present during MS Teams Meetings, you will also soon be able to switch to Cameo mode during the meeting, just like you can switch to Standout Mode currently.
