Avatars for Microsoft Teams are now available as part of the public preview program.
You can create your Avatar for Microsoft Teams by adding the Avatars app to your Teams Sidebar and select your Avatar from the pre-join and in-meeting options. Avatars add a layer of choice and fun to your meetings and might be just the fit for days when you don’t feel like switching your camera on but want to keep up a level of interaction.
Not only can you create up to three avatars and customise your appearance and wardrobe combinations, but you can use Avatar Reactions and bring your Avatar to life!
Note: Avatars must be enabled by your IT admin and are currently due to rollout from May.
Whilst these may not be appropriate for all your meeting types, we’ve enjoyed some belly laughs testing within our team.
