Background

Pioneer DJ, now known as AlphaTheta Corporation, was established in 1994 as a division of Pioneer Corporation.

It quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality DJ equipment, including the iconic CDJ series of media players and DJM series of mixers, which have become industry standards.

In 2014, Pioneer DJ became an independent company after being sold to KKR, a global investment firm. The company rebranded as AlphaTheta Corporation in 2020 but continues to use the Pioneer DJ brand for its products.

With a strong focus on innovation and quality, Pioneer DJ holds a significant share of the global DJ equipment market and remains a favorite among professional and amateur DJs alike.

Bringing Learning Online

Pioneer DJ has worked with TrainingU for some years now.

In the past all training was delivered face to face, but since the start of the pandemic we shifted to working from home, so we brought all learning online as well.

We wanted to continue with training as we see this as an important part of employee development and engagement.

TrainingU provided Pioneer DJ with a variety of options, from whole day training to courses broken up into shorter, more manageable sessions that could be spread across a number of days.

Feedback from employees has been fantastic. Staff are extremely motivated to join training sessions and at times there is a waiting list! This shows how well the training met the requirements.

Staff who have attended the training sessions are showing increased confidence and are putting the skills they have learnt into practise. They are also recommending the training sessions to colleagues.
