Despite the thunder, lightening and hours of torrential rain just a couple of hours beforehand we braved the night, donning our pink wigs, bunny ears and hats and headed for Verulamium Park in St Albans. We joined the other 950 women taking part in the 10 Mile Midnight Walk, helping to raise funds for the Grove House Hospice.
